Karen E. Harris

Karen E. Harris, 66, of Philipsburg, died Friday, June 30, 2023, at Sena Kean Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Smethport, Pa.

Karen was born on July 15, 1956, in Philipsburg, a daughter of the late Clayton and Vivian E. (Jackson) Rodgers.

She was married on July 14, 1979, in Philipsburg, to George H. Harris, who preceded her in death on May 22, 2021.

She was also preceded in death by an infant son, George H. Harris, IV.

Karen was a dedicated homemaker throughout her life. Her favorite pastimes included reading and spending time with her family.

She is survived by a daughter, Kylee S. Harris, and her companion, Scott A. Pollard, of Philipsburg; a sister, Sharon E. Harris and her husband, Roy, of Morrisdale; a brother, Kenneth L. Rodgers and his companion, Beverly Miller, of Bellefonte; numerous other extended family members; and her beloved four-legged friend, Izzy.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023, at 1 pm, at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg, with Rev. Timothy Richmond, officiating.

The visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 11 am until the time of the service.

Interment will be in Philipsburg Cemetery.
