Kyle Scot Hamilton

Kyle Scot Hamilton, 22, of (Grassflat) RD Morrisdale, died Friday, March 22, 2019, at Family Hospice & Palliative Care at Mt. Lebanon, Pittsburgh, after a lengthy and courageous battle with kidney and heart disease.

Kyle was born on February 17, 1997, a son of Christine L. Green and her companion, Craig A. Eckenrode, whom Kyle considered like a father.

Kyle was a 2015 graduate of West Branch Area High School. During his high school years, he was a member of the baseball and basketball teams. However, his favorite pastime and club sport at school was snowboarding. He also enjoyed going to camp, hunting and hangin’ with his friends.

Kyle is survived by his mother, Christine and her companion, Craig, at home; two brothers, Derek J. Browne, of Grassflat and Parker Hamilton; his maternal grandparents, Harold D. and “Betsy” (Butlin) Green, of Clearfield; Craig’s parents, Jerry and Doris (Watt) Eckenrode, of Chest Springs; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family members.

The family will receive friends to celebrate Kyle’s life on Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 4 to 8 pm, at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg.
