Robert L. “Bob” Hamaty
Robert L. “Bob” Hamaty, 68 of Philipsburg, PA passed away on Sunday October 7, 2012 at his home.
He was born on December 25, 1943 in Philipsburg, PA, to the late John S. Hamaty and Evelyn M. (Wilson) Sharpless. He married the former Esther M. Ellis on September 14, 1966 at the First Presbyterian Church of Philipsburg. She survives him at home.
Mr. Hamaty was a member of the First Church of Christ in Philipsburg, PA.
He was most recently employed with the former F.C.I. Electronics of Clearfield, as a material handler, until his retirement. He was a 1962 graduate of the Clearfield Area High School.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Hamaty is survived by: a daughter Lorie A. Stake and her husband Kenneth of Dillsburg, PA; a son, Thomas L. Hamaty and his wife, Paula of Bellefonte, PA;and four grandchildren, Alyssa & Megan Hamaty of Bellefonte and Noah & Ryan Stake of Dillsburg, PA.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home in Philipsburg, PA with Rev. Timothy D. Richmond officiating. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 11, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
