Anthony J. Guy

Anthony J. Guy, 66, of West Decatur, died Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at his residence.

Anthony was born June 10, 1951, in Clearfield, a son of Dominic and Lillian (Ettaro) Guy, both of whom preceded him in death.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Clearfield. He was a graduate of Clearfield High School. Following high school, he served with the US Army during the Vietnam War era.

He owned and operated his own construction contracting company throughout his working career.

Anthony is survived by two sons, Anthony D. Guy and his wife, Jodi, of West Decatur and Joseph R. Guy and his companion, Diandra, of State College; five grandchildren: Corey Dunbar, of West Palm Beach, Florida, Kaleb Guy and his wife, Leah, of Osceola Mills, Mia Guy, of Philipsburg and Jillian and Lane Guy, both of West Decatur; one great-grandson, Sawyer Guy, of Osceola Mills; three sisters: Amelia Schultz, of Greenville, South Carolina, Mary Haversack and her husband, James, of Hyde and Virginia Dunzik and her husband, Rodney, of (North) Philipsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Nickey and William R. “Billy Boy” Guy, in addition to his parents.

There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield.
