Paul Gallo, Jr.
Paul Gallo, Jr., 96, of Philipsburg, PA died on Monday, April 6, 2015 at his residence.
Born on April 19, 1918 in Philipsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Paul, Sr. & Mary (Guy) Gallo. He married the former Elizabeth (Betty) Richards on November 19, 1949 in Philipsburg, PA, who survives of Philipsburg.
Mr. Gallo was affiliated with Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Philipsburg, PA and was an Army veteran of W.W.II. He was a mechanic with the General Cigar factory in Philipsburg, for 30 years until his retirement.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: three sisters, Mary, Sue and Ann; and three brothers, John, Andrew and Michael. He was the last of his generation.
Along with his wife, Mr. Gallo is survived by: two daughters, Michal M. “Shelly” Mease & her husband Terry S. of Philipsburg, PA and Lisa M. Sievers & her husband Alfred “Al” C., Jr. of Philipsburg, PA; two sons, Wayne B. Gallo of Jersey City, NJ and Paul J. Gallo, II and his wife Marianne of Middletown, PA; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.
