Lorie J. Frank

Lorie J. Frank, 58, of Philipsburg, died Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey.

Lorie was born on January 29, 1964, in Bellefonte, a daughter of the late Daniel W. and Mabel R. (Fry) Dolan.

She was a 1981 graduate of the Bellefonte Area High School.

Lorie was married on December 24, 2008, in Key West, Florida, to John W. “Jack” Frank, Jr., who preceded her in death on April 16, 2017.

She is survived by a daughter, Tana M. Smith and her fiancé, William Steele, of Philipsburg; two grandchildren, Kaily and Addyson Smith, of Philipsburg; a sister, Debra “Deb” L. Craig and her husband, John, of Bellefonte; a brother, Daniel W. Dolan, Jr., and his wife, Natalie, of Julian; and numerous other extended family members.

Lorie was a dedicated homemaker. Prior to Jack’s illness, she enjoyed going with him on nature / wildlife photography excursions.

Arrangements were private and at the convenience of the family.

A private interment was held in Philipsburg Cemetery.
