Peter W. Frailey

Peter W. “Jet” Frailey, 68, of Hawk Run and formerly of East Stroudsburg, died Thursday, March 2, 2023, at his residence.

Peter was born on August 11, 1954, in East Stroudsburg, a son of the late Clark J. and Loretta E. Frailey.

Peter was a graduate of East Stroudsburg High School.

Early in his working career, he owned and operated a Texaco service station in the East Stroudsburg area. He was also an independent owner-operator truck driver during his career. During his time as a truck driver, he drove for Wal-Mart, Land Star Systems, Inc. and Little Chief Lumber Co.

Among his favorite pastimes, Peter enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by a daughter, Coty M. Frailey and her fiancé, Christopher M. Williams, Jr., of Philipsburg; three grandchildren: Thurston Z. Bowes and his girlfriend, Rachel G. Stiles, Nova S. Bowes and Aizik D. Williams, all of Philipsburg; a sister, Susan Frailey and a brother, Brock Frailey, Sr., both of Florida; and his beloved cat, “Putt Putt.”

Peter was preceded in death by his parents and former wife, Diane L. Weiss.

There will be no public visitation or funeral service. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in Peter’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice.
