Kathleen Fowler

Kathleen Fowler, 62, of Altoona, PA and formerly of Morrisdale and Osceola Mills, PA died Sunday, March 8, 2015 at UPMC, Altoona, PA.

Born on January 25, 1953 in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harry, Sr. and Marie (Blasko) Snedden.  She is survived by her fiance, Tim Daugherty, of Altoona, PA.

Ms. Fowler was Roman Catholic by faith.  She had been employed with various businesses in the Philipsburg area, lastly working as a teller at the M & T bank in Houtzdale, PA, until her retirement.  She was a 1971 graduate of the West Branch High School.

In addition to her her fiance she is survived by: a daughter, Kimberly Robb & her husband James II of Philipsburg, PA; a son, Russell Fowler III of Cromwell, CT; three sisters, Mary “Mickey” Yarian of Sharpsville, PA, Margaret “Punch” Read & her husband Don “Packy” of Morrisdale, PA and Susan Bloom of Hyde, PA; two brothers, Robert “Bob” Snedden of Port Matilda, PA and Harry “Buddy” Snedden & his wife Sandy of Stroudsburg, PA.  She is also survived by: two granddaughters, Jazlynn “Jazz” and Karley Robb, both of Philipsburg, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home in Philipsburg, PA with Deacon Dennis Socash officiating.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday March, 14, 2015 at the Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to a cancer program of the donor’s choice.
