Patricia A. “Pat” Foley

Patricia A. “Pat” Foley, 83, of (South) Philipsburg, died Sunday, July 17, 2022, at her residence.

Patricia was born on November 26, 1938, in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Paul C. and Mary B. (Maney) Poorman.

She attended the former Philipsburg High School.

Pat was married on April 7, 1956, in Philipsburg, to John “Jack” Foley, who preceded her in death on June 11, 2018.

During her working career, Pat operated a financial services business through Primerica.

She was also an accomplished seamstress.

Pat enjoyed getting together with her card club friends for Bridge and Pinochle. She also enjoyed getting together with friends in her quilting guild.

Pat was preceded in death by a daughter, Leslie Ann Foley; and two brothers, Donald and Richard Poorman.

She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline F. Bullis, of Snow Hill, Maryland and Cynthia F. Quick and her husband, Norman, of Sinking Spring, (Pa); seven grandchildren: Meganne Quick, Tyler Quick and his wife, Rochelle Roboski, Charles Bullis and his wife, Jessica, Katie Bullis, Bridget Bullis and two grandsons that Pat and her husband, Jack raised like sons, Christopher Foley and his wife, Holly and Ryan Held; great-grandchildren: Lucas, Jonah and EllaRose Foley, Gabriel Brown, Layla Bullis, and Oliver, Oscar and Serenity Held; a sister, Carol Ludwig and her husband, David, of Bridgeville, Delaware; one brother, Robert Poorman and his wife, Linda, of Elkton, Maryland; and numerous other extended family members.

A funeral service will be held at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg, on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at 1 pm, with Deacon Jerry Nevling, officiating.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm and on Thursday from Noon until the time of the service.

Interment will be in SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, RD Philipsburg.
