Bernadette M. Dill

Bernadette M. Dill, 71, of Karthaus, died Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.

Bernadette was born on January 28, 1947, in Philadelphia, to the late Charles A. and Ethel M. (McLaughlin) Mackel.

She was baptized in the Catholic faith.

She was married on June 27, 1963, in Philadelphia, to John E. Dill, who survives at home.

Bernadette was employed as a C.N.A. with Mountain Laurel Health & Rehabilitation Center, Clearfield, throughout her working career.

She is survived by her two daughters, Bernadette Ditty-Hynd and her husband, Troy, of Tyrone and Kristin A. Shirey and her husband, Brian Wimer, of Boalsburg; four grandchildren: Stephanie Keith and her husband, Dan, of Hollidaysburg, Elizabeth Ditty, of Tyrone, R.J. Shirey and Mariah McGhee, both of Boalsburg; one sister, Kathryn Capobianchi, of Perkiomenville,(Pa) and numerous other extended family members, in addition to her husband, John.

Bernadette was preceded in death by one daughter, Courtney E. McGhee, on June 5, 2017; one sister, Mary Dehabey; and one brother, Bartholomew McLaughlin.

A private funeral service will be held at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Philipsburg.

Interment will be in Advent Cemetery, Pine Glen.
