Photo of Lois J. CroftLois J. Croft, 76, of Curwensville, and formerly of Woodland, died Friday, March 8, 2019, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Lois was born on October 5, 1942, in Woodland, a daughter of the late Guy S. and Anna Rebecca (Hughes) Croft.

Lois was a Christian.

She attended Clearfield High School. She was employed as a clerk for Croft’s Fruit Market, formerly of Hyde, throughout her working career. She retired in 2003 after 40 years of service.

Lois loved kittens and cats; and took care of numerous ones throughout her life.

She is survived by three sisters: Doris Mahlon and her husband, Ralph, of Greenville, Pa., Joyce Dale, of Curwensville and Rebecca “Becky” Landis and her husband, Rev. Ronald E. Landis, of Thompsontown, Pa.; one brother, Rev. John L. Croft and his wife, Naomi, of West Decatur; two sister-in-laws, Connie Croft and Dorothy Croft, both of Woodland and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Donald F. and Robert G. Croft; a brother-in-law, James Dale; a nephew, Guy W. Croft; a nephew-in-law, Todd Thomas; a great nephew, Kyle Croft and an infant brother.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at 1:00 pm, at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg, with Rev. Ronald E. Landis, officiating, and assisted by Rev. Robert Croft and Rev. Rick Cox.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, from 6 to 8 pm, at the funeral home; and on Thursday, from Noon until the time of the service.

Interment will be in Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Lois to the Hyde Wesleyan Church, 1215 Riverview Road, Clearfield, Pa 16830.
