Claudia L. Conti

On September 11th, 2023, Claudia L. Conti, of Philipsburg, PA followed her final yellow brick road home to join her parents, Harmon T. & Christine D. (Sheroky) Hartshorne.

Since September 7th, 1990, in Lutz, FL, Lewis J. Conti, the love of her life and guiding light has been by her side as they decided to relocate, after several decades in Florida, to reside back in her hometown of Philipsburg, PA as she always said there was no place like home.

A childhood full of stories and adventures told to all who would listen was shared with her sister, Christine (Bradley) Brickel of Wyomissing, PA, Billee (Susan) Hartshorne of Lutz, FL, and Harmon (Kyra) Hartshorne II, of Philipsburg, PA, and many nieces and nephews.

Her never ending joy and love for her children; Aaron (Amy) Tiracorda, of Kylertown, PA and Francis “John” (Laura) Hamilton of Riverview, FL, was unmatched in this world.

She endlessly loved and beamed with pride when talking about each and every one of her grandchildren; Caleb Hamilton of Forth Worth, TX, Zachary, Isaac and Jacob Tiracorda of Kylertown, PA and Marilyn Hamilton of Lithia, FL.

Her life was full of love, laughter and fellowship including graduating from the Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School Class of 1969, South Hills Business School, and retiring from thirty plus years of being a dental assistant in Florida. Once she returned to Philipsburg she began attending the First Presbyterian Church of Philipsburg, PA, was a proud member and Inner Guard for the B.P.O. Elks Lodge & Country Club #1173, an auxiliary member of the Philipsburg VFW, a member of the Osceola Mills L.O.O. Moose as well as a member and loved bartender of the Carpathian Club of Hawk Run, PA.

Claudia was a wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend and fulfilled a thousand different roles. She was the life of every party with the most beautiful soul.

Her love was larger than the sun; always cheering you on and up for having a ball. She is the one we will all miss, most of all.

A life well lived, a woman so loved, an ending that came too soon. We’ll all love her forever as she loved us under every bright sky and neon moon.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, to honor Claudia’s beautiful journey that touched all the lives who knew her. Rev. Dr. Katie Hopper will preside over the service beginning at 1pm at the B.P.O. Elks Lodge and Country Club on the patio which will be followed by an Elks Memorial Service and a period of condolences, fellowship and hors d’oeuvres.

In lieu of flowers, please direct all donations to the B.P.O. Elks Lodge & Country Club #1173, P.O. Box 302, Philipsburg, PA 16866 for a donation into our Home Service Project.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce St., Philipsburg. Online condolences may be submitted at www.beezerheathfh.com.
