Helen A. Chutko

Helen A. Chutko, 62, of Philipsburg, died Monday, June 3, 2019, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.

Helen was born on December 2, 1956, in Philipsburg, a daughter of John Moss and Patricia (Chutko) Harper and her stepfather Elmer N. Harper, all of whom preceded her in death.

Helen was a 1975 graduate of Philipsburg – Osceola Area High School. She was a dedicated homemaker throughout her entire career.

Helen is survived by one daughter, Nikki Lynn (Chutko) Lash and her husband, Aron, of Philipsburg; one son, Adam Dale Veneziano and his wife, Alice, of Philipsburg; seven grandchildren: Jason Veneziano, Geona Veneziano, Gage Veneziano, Kameron Sheffer, Michael Sheeley, Rylan Veneziano and Olivia Lash; one step-grandson, Joshua DeGrasse; seven sisters; three brothers; and numerous other extended family members. Helen just recently learned of and met for the first time one of her seven sisters, Carol (Moss) Zener. Since their initial meeting, Helen and Carol had developed a strong relationship with one another.

Helen’s entire world revolved around spending time with her grandchildren. She was also especially close with her sister, Malinda.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019, at 8 pm, at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg, with Rev. Scott Hartsock, officiating.

Visitation will be on Friday at the funeral home from 3 to 5 and 6 to the time of service.
