Nancy L. Bryan
Nancy L. Bryan, 76, of Philipsburg, PA died Thursday, July 24, 2014 at her home.
Born on February 21, 1938 in Philipsburg, PA she was the daughter of the Late William E. and Grace A. (Nolan) Lamb Furguiel and her step-father Fred Furguiel. She married Marshall T. Bryan on August 31, 1957 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Philipsburg, PA; he survives at home.
Mrs Bryan was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Philipsburg, PA and was employed with the Presbyterian Home, Philipsburg, PA for several years until health problems forced her to retire. She was a 1956 graduate of the Philipsburg High School. Nancy was an avid crafter of baby blankets, dolls, angels and other items. Her biggest joy was giving away her hand crafted items.
In addition to her parents and step-father she was preceded in death by: a daughter, Valerie A, Heichel-Bryan; and a brother, Thomas J. Lamb.
In addition to her husband Mrs. Bryan is survived by: a daughter Marsha L. Sallurday & her husband Billy Joe of Philipsburg, PA; two sons, Mark A. Bryan & his wife Betsy of Treasure Lake, DuBois, PA and Patrick S. Bryan & his wife Sandi of Philipsburg, PA; one sister, Sandy Kitchen of Philipsburg, PA; five grandchildren, Brandy Vandeveld, Deanna Yarger, Eric Sallurday, Kelly Ferut, and Kasey Bryan; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29 2014 at Beezer-Heath Funeral Home in Philipsburg, PA, with Rev. Robert J. Kelly officiating. Burial will be at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 28, 2014 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
