Gloria May Brodersen
Gloria May Brodersen, 76, of Philipsburg, PA passed away on Monday, December 24, 2012 at Epworth Manor in Tyrone, PA.
She was the daughter of the late Rhody & Agnes (Shankey) Dixon, born on May 2, 1936 in Philipsburg, PA. She married Hans Brodersen on April, 19, 1968 in Los Angeles,CA. He preceded her in death on July 22, 1997.
Mrs. Brodersen was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Clearfield, PA.
Gloria was a homemaker, and a 1954 graduate of the Osceola Mills High School.
Mrs. Brodersen is survived by: a daughter, Kim Smyers of DeBary, FL; a brother, Rhoudy Dixon & his wife Pastor Connie Dixon of Morrisdale, PA;, two granddaughters, Courtney & Brittany Smyers of DeBary, FL, a niece, Rhonda Yastro & her husband David of Philipsburg; and two great- nephews, Ryan & Zane Yastro.
A memorial service for Gloria will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Philipsburg Towers social room, 300 N. Front St., Philipsburg, PA. The Rev. John Versaw, pastor of the Philipsburg Church of the Nazarene and the Rev. Robert Thomas, pastor of the Clearfield Church of the Nazarene will be co-officiate.
