Donald L. “Branny” Branstetter – Guestbook Entries

Very sorry about Don’s passing. He was a terrific guy and I was very pleased to know him. In 2001, Don asked would we want some aerial photographs of the MVEDP’s new Mo. Valley Regional Business Park that had just been completed. He showed up one day with a large portrait photograph of the Business Park. We have that large portrait on our wall in the office. An empty business park and sure enough thought by one person to be nothing but a “field of dreams”. A letter to the editor appeared in the newspaper with that opinion. Don’s portrait/photo of the Business Park is now surrounded by photos of all the businesses/ buildings that are now in the Park. We will always be grateful to Don for giving us that framed portrait. A good man that we liked very much. Our sympathies are with the family, take care.

So sorry to learn of Don’s passing. He was a good man. I very much enjoyed growing up with him and Pat and Lori and Lisa and seeing the Branstetter family in the Presbyterian Church. I also enjoyed working with Don to advance the use of Mid-State Airport at Black Moshannon State Park when he was a member of the Authority and I was the local State Representative. He is fondly remembered and will be missed by all who came to know him.

I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Branstetter. Bob told me wonderful stories about his uncle. May God give comfort during these difficult times.
