Deborah A. Boyd

Deborah A. Boyd, 64, of Philipsburg, PA died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at her home.

Born on March 12, 1951 in New Castle, PA, she was the daughter of the Late William and Shirley (Ward) Pitzer.  She married Paul E. Boyd on August 3, 1974 in New Castle, PA.  He preceded her in death on May 26, 2012.

She was a member of the South Philipsburg Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.  Mrs. Boyd was a homemaker and mother, and she enjoyed reading and cross stitching.  She was a graduate of the Neshannock High School in New Castle, PA.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Pilleny.

She is survived by: four daughters, Erica Boyd & her companion Dennis Weld of Philipsburg, PA, Sarah Strouse & her husband Doug of Philipsburg, PA, Paula Johnson of Philipsburg, PA and Danielle Webster of Philipsburg, PA; two sons, Robert Boyd of Indianapolis, IN and Aaron Boyd & his wife Ashley of North Adams, MA; two sisters, Bonnie Wallace & her husband Bob of North Reading, MA and Kathy Perrotta & her husband Randy of New Castle, PA; and one brother, John Pitzer & his wife Janet of New Castle, PA.  She is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 East Spruce Street, Philipsburg, PA, with Rev. Scott R. Hartsock officiating.  Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
