Margaret L. “Peggy” Blasko

Our dearest mother, Margaret L. “Peggy” (Pavlik) Blasko, 87, of Hawk Run, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2018. Peggy was the beloved wife of the late Paul Blasko whom she wed on June 19, 1965, in Coral, Pa. Dearest mother of Mary Sue and husband Andrew Morrison of Wilmington, Delaware; Paul Blasko of New York, New York; Monica and husband Don Wasilko of Lock Haven, Pa; and Thomas Blasko and his wife Sharon of Hawk Run. Loving grandmother of Rachel and Jacob Wasilko and Connor and Olivia Blasko. Dear Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mary (Virostek) Pavlik and by her nine siblings; Joseph, Irene, Frank, Steve, Anne, Albert, Edward, Elizabeth and Mary.

She was a teacher and most recently employed by Childcare Services upon retirement in 2003. She was an Auditor for Morris Township for 24 years and was involved in various organizations: Girl Scout Leader, Boy Scouts of America Coordinator, American Cancer Society volunteer, former President of West Branch PTO and Band Boosters for many years. She loved her church, Saints Peter and Paul, in Hawk Run and was a member of the Council of Human Dignity, Renew Program, Rosary Society, Eucharistic Minister and was a past Grand Regent of the Catholic Daughters of America.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 6, 2018, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 7, 2018, at 10 am at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Hawk Run, with Fr. Robert J. Horgas, celebrant. She will then be laid to rest next to her beloved husband.
