Margaret M. “Marge” Berkley

Margaret M. “Marge” Berkley, 89, of Morrisdale, died Monday, November 26, 2018, at her residence.

Margaret was born on March 25, 1929, in Drifting, a daughter of the late Lewis S. and Mary S. (Zezoney) Fenush.

She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Morrisdale. She was employed with the former Philipsburg General Cigar plant during her working career. She was also a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed working around her yard, tending to her rose bushes and loved watching baseball games.

Marge was married on September 3, 1949, in Drifting, to Calvin E. Berkley, who preceded her in death on January 24, 2012.

She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Crystal Berkley; two sisters, Mary and Anna; and ten brothers: John, Adam, Joseph, Andrew, George, Michael, Paul, Steve, Emil & Carl.

Marge is survived by four children: Gary L. Berkley, of Drifting, Kathleen K. Folmar, of Morrisdale, Tom E. Berkley and his wife, Jamie, of Morrisdale and Jane C. Harzinski and family, of Florida; six grandchildren: Beth Erickson, Jim Berkley, Lynna Best, Tom Greene, Jr., Cassandra Harzinski and Ray Harzinski, Jr.; numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, other extended family members and her beloved poodle, Coco.

Visitation will be on Thursday, November 29, 2018, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce Street, Philipsburg.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 30, 2018, at 10 am at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Morrisdale, with Fr. Robert J. Horgas, celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Severin Catholic Cemetery, Drifting.
