Erin S. Beish
Erin S. Beish, 34 of State College, PA and formerly of Philipsburg, PA passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA.
Erin was the daughter of John and Susan (Dunsmore) Kennedy of Philipsburg and Gregory Beish of Houtzdale, PA.
She was a member of Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Philipsburg, PA. She loved watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and tailgating at Penn State home games with her uncle P.D. and family. She enjoyed her annual trip to Florida with her uncle Rob and aunt JoAnn and visiting Disney World.
Erin had worked part-time for several years at Penn State. She was last employed at Lion Heart Fitness in State College, until her illness prevented her from working.
She was a 1998 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School.
Erin was preceded in death by: Maternal grandparents, Harry & Rita (Ammerman) Dunsmore; Paternal grandparents, Cecil & Phyllis (Selfridge) Beish; a step-sister, Krista Kennedy; and an aunt, Bernie Wayne Dunsmore.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Brian D. Beish and his wife Brea of Huntingdon, PA. She is also survived by her beloved nephews, Nolan and Lucas Beish of Huntingdon; aunts and uncles, Robert & JoAnn Dunsmore of Spring Hill, FL, James Dunsmore of FL, Thomas & Beth Dunsmore of Philipsburg, and P.D. & Barb Beish of Grampian; cousins, Melanie & Kurt Lenz, Matthew Beish, Amanda & Brandon Greenland, Christopher Dunsmore and her extended step-family, the Kennedys.
A memorial service for Erin will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home in Philipsburg, PA, with Rev. Robert J. Kelly officiating. Burial will be at the Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.
The family will receive friends from noon – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
