John P. Albert, Jr.

John P. Albert, Jr., 61, of (Glass City) RD Philipsburg, died Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

John was born on January 11, 1960, in Philipsburg, a son of John P. Albert, Sr. and Bernice S. (Schnarrs) Albert, who survive of (Glass City) RD Philipsburg.

John was a graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School. He was an US Army veteran. He was employed throughout his working career as an independent heating and plumbing contractor.

He was a member of the First Church of Christ, RD Philipsburg.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Jacob D. Albert and Joshua D. Albert, both at home in Glass City; and numerous other extended family members.

Among his favorite pastimes, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 30, 2021, at 1 pm, at the First Church of Christ, 1437 Tyrone Pike, Philipsburg, with Rev. William Fowler, officiating.

Visitation will be at the church on Monday, from 10 am until the time of the funeral service.

Military Honors will be accorded by the Moshannon Valley Independent Honor Guard.

Interment will be in Philipsburg Cemetery.
